[audio]A Gentle Sounding Of Chaotic Extensions - Dave Fuglewicz
"A Gentle Sounding Of Chaotic Extensions" was released in March of 1995 on cassette. This was my ninth release. In 1993 I took about a year off to build and rebuild my equipment and that's why I didn't release anything in 1994, but by March of 1995 I had enough for another release. Also, this was the first time I had contributions by other musicians, my friends Pete Comely and Marty Ashmore added significant parts on two of the compositions...

My equipment at this time: ARP 2600, ARP Odyssey, ARP Sequencer, modified Casio keyboard, Digitech 7.6 Delay, several effects "stomp" boxes, some home made synthesizer modules. [audio]Industrial Strength #1 - Dave Fuglewicz
Industrial Strength #1 was released in October of 1990 on cassette. This was my first release even though I had been recording for a number of years. At that time I was unaware just how large the independent tape network was, but I was about to find out. This Archive.Org posting includes the bonus track "Madcap Bells" which is not on either the cassette or CD versions. A scan of the original cassette j-card artwork is included below...

[audio]Study For 2 Tones - Luke Jones
Using an old analog synthesizer i played 2 tones at c3 and c4. I recorded 2 channels of the tone as it comes out, whereas on another two the tone is slightly detuned at certain times making for a disorientating beating drone.

[audio]Industrial Strength #2 - Dave Fuglewicz
Industrial Strength #2 was released in October of 1990 on cassette. This was my second release, issued about two weeks after "Industrial Strength #1", http://www.archive.org/details/IndustrialStrength1 At that time I had planned to issue my cassette's under the title "Industrial Strength #x" and just increment the number. I changed my mind about that some time in 1991. This Archive.Org posting includes the bonus track "Mutant Intervention" which is not on either the cassette or CD versions...

"Passage" was released in June of 1993 on cassette. This was my eighth release, issued at the same time as "Drifting" (http://archive.org/details/Drifting_Fuglewicz) and "Hard To Decipher", (http://archive.org/details/HardToDecipher), though those two releases had mostly consisted of older material. "Passage" consisted of material recorded during the previous year and it marked the evolution of my releases and music in two ways...

[audio]Orange Mist Sunrise and Sunset - Dave Fuglewicz
"Orange Mist Sunrise" and "Orange Mist Sunset" were released in March of 1996 on two cassettes. This was my tenth release. I had originally planned on releasing one sixty minute tape but as I was working on compositions the sounds were flowing wonderfully and I was soon past sixty minutes by February of 1996. At one point I was working on three compositions at the same time which was very unusual for me...

At the beginning of this recording you can hear Robert Moog´s voice. It was downloaded from an Austrian online radio-archive, which was shut down due to copyright issues. [audio][MTR-001] Self-replicating Pain Fibers Are Ready To Invade Your Central Nervous System. Bummer. - Insecticide Lobotomy and Otolathe
Don't call it a come back, and definitely don't call it a split. This action packed collaborative release is the result of combining two volatile entities and then placing them in the same room as a bunch of gear. The end result? Noise, banter, and an overall sense of well being. Yeah, it's pretty good shit.

[audio][MTR-010] Enter Alia - Otolathe
Otolathe presents a 7 track collection of explorations in what he calls Big Block Minimalism. Employing technologies like thyratron tube synthesizers, unstable old analog solid-state machines, field recordings, digital sampling, custom software, analog tape, and vinyl, Big Block Minimalism comes at you in large chunks. Unlike most "minimalist" works there is a shedload of brutal loud aggression going on...

[movies]Live Install Bay June 2007
In April, 2007, Hal McGee invited me to play at the Tampa Noise Fest, which was scheduled for June 8th, 9th and 10th, 2007. Now I've never played for a live audience before and I hesitated for a few days but did accept. We decided to do a duo for Saturday night. Within a week or so, he asked if I could come down to his hometown of Gainesville, Florida on June 7th, to do a show with him at the Action Research Show # 1, in a warehouse space called Install Bay...

Even though this was my fifth official release, some of my earliest work is on this tape also (see "Early Stuff Volume 1). After my first three release, "Industrial Strength #1", Industrial Strength #2" and "Every Electric Part Of You" I decided to dig into my tape vaults and unleash my early recordings via Early Stuff Volume's 1 and 2...

[audio]Jam In Roswell 1999 - Dave Fuglewicz and Hal McGee
Roswell, Georgia May 8, 1999 Hal and I had been trading tapes and corresponding for about four years or so. We enjoyed each others recordings and corresponded with tape trades. He was in the area, visiting family and we got together Saturday, May 8, 1999 to jam and visit. Sit a spell and make some sounds, some noise, some music. We played my ARP 2600 and ARP Odyssey. [audio]InfInfInfInfInfInfInf - Bryan Killingsworth
Inf BK: analog synthesizer, radio Truncated Infinities A sort of drone beat-tape on which I worked a synth patch until it had something of interest and then recorded the patch as is, just letting it run until my attention told me there was enough to communicate what the patch was about. In some ways it's just an exercise, like a sketchbook, in that I tend to enjoy concise sketches more than finished works...
